July 26, 2007 – Ken Rice has been promoted to director of underwriting for USF Insurance Company.

Rice joined USF in July 2006 as underwriting manager, a role he held until his promotion. Previously, Rice was a relationship manager at AON Corp., based in Southfield, Mich.

USF Insurance Company is a property and casualty insurance company dedicated to serving niche program and excess and surplus markets through managing general agencies and program managers. USF is licensed in Pennsylvania and New York as an admitted carrier and is approved as a Surplus Lines carrier in 47 other states and the District of Columbia. Based in Farmington Hills, Mich., USF is part of the Kaufman Insurance Group, which also includes Victoria Insurance Company.
